Jasmine- Looking for love in all the wrong places? You just hit the JACKPOT!
Jasmine is a super sweet lap dog. She is medium in size and weighs between 50-55 pounds. Jasmine is a terrier mix. Pretty low energy after she has had a nice long walk. She would do best as an only dog since she wants all of your attention. Jasmine is in foster with two other dogs and cats and does well…but….YOU are all she wants and she is not interested in sharing. She could live with a dog savvy cat but will chase them and needs supervision. She is mostly housebroken but does have accidents if you aren’t paying attention to her signals (pacing). She is crate trained but does prefer to be with her human and cries when you first leave her. She does eventually settle down. Loves, loves, loves, people of all ages. She is great with her dog savvy human brother and sister. Jasmine is a total lap dog and wants nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch. Her ideal home would be one as the only dog, a person who is around a lot (works from home), and someone who will give her daily exercise. A fenced in backyard would be nice too. WJVA rescued Jasmine from the south and as so many of the dogs we get from there she is heartworm positive. WJVA will pay for her treatment. We are hoping to get her into a permanent home before we treat her. She will need rest for several weeks after her procedure.
